Mission
Operations Engineering Unit ensures quality service by:
1. Monitor and coordinate hospital facilities services, condition of medical and non-medical equipment, hygiene, linen and clinical waste disposal effectively
2. Performs technical inspection and audit of all hospital facilities systems including basic and public facilities.
3. Provide professional technical advisory services related to engineering services.
4. Establish a teamwork and co-operation between the Operational Engineering Unit within the state of Selangor and the Engineering Services Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia
Vision
Supervises Hospital Support Services (KSH) and provides professional engineering services to ensure the smoothness and completeness of hospital operations.
Objective
1. Monitor the implementation of Hospital Support Services (KSH) for linen, cleaning, clinical waste management, facility engineering and biomedical engineering to be implemented in accordance with the Concession Agreement.
2. Protect the interests of the Ministry of Health Malaysia and hospital users by ensuring that the requirements in the concession are met.
3. Ensure that the Hospital Support Services provided by the concessionaire are continuous, efficient and safe in accordance with the standards set.
4. Carry out physical inspections on systems, installations, plant and equipment / mechanical, electrical and biomedical related equipment.
5. Provide education and training to consumers to enhance their understanding of Clinical Support Services.
